Rules

Ahead of your visit to the Théâtre Capitole, we invite you to review the following regulations.  

1 - Alcohol

Only alcoholic beverages sold on the Théâtre Capitole premises are permitted. Anyone found with alcohol purchased outside the venue is subject to immediate expulsion. Anyone consuming, possessing, or purchasing alcohol must be 18 years of age or older and must have valid ID in their possession. 

3 - Cameras / Photography

Professional cameras, defined as cameras with detachable lenses or lenses longer than 200 mm, are not permitted. Please note that taking photos with a mobile phone is allowed, but flash photography is strictly prohibited. To submit a request for accreditation with a professional camera, click HERE

5 - Smoking and Vaping

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the Théâtre Capitole. 

7 - Payment Methods

The Théâtre Capitole is a cashless venue. Please plan to use Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, or debit cards. 

2 - Animals

With the exception of service animals, no animals are permitted inside the Théâtre Capitole. If you plan to bring a service animal, please contact us in advance at 418 694-4444 (Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) to inform us. 

4 - Code of Conduct

The Théâtre Capitole is a place for entertainment and gatherings. Courtesy and respect are essential. To maintain a welcoming atmosphere, the following behaviors are prohibited and may result in expulsion: : 
 

4.1 Threatening, disrespectful, or abusive language or gestures 
4.2 Fighting 
4.3 Intoxication due to alcohol or drugs 
4.4 Throwing objects 
 

You must sit in the seat assigned to your ticket and present it upon request to any Théâtre Capitole staff member. Management reserves the right to expel any guest whose behavior is disrespectful, dangerous, or disruptive to the event, without refund. 

6 - Prohibited Items

To ensure the comfort and safety of all attendees, the following items are prohibited: 
 
6.1 Alcohol purchased outside the Théâtre Capitole 
6.2 Food or beverages purchased outside the Théâtre Capitole 
6.3 Drugs 
6.4 Laser pointers, air horns, whistles, megaphones, cowbells, or any device or object whose volume, sound, or light disrupts the audience or is considered dangerous 
6.5 Video cameras or any audio-recording device, including iPads, tablets, and GoPros 
6.6 Stolen or counterfeit tickets 
6.7 Aerosol cans, fireworks, helium balloons, metal, aluminum (cans), glass, or hard plastic containers 
6.8 Any weapon, blunt object, explosive, firecracker, firework, gas, smoke bomb, incendiary item, pepper spray, or any other hazardous or potentially dangerous object 
6.9 Any object that could obstruct another guest’s view, such as banners, posters, flags, or sticks 
6.10 Helmets, strollers, and umbrellas 
6.11 Weapons or dangerous objects 
6.12 Backpacks or items larger than a briefcase 
6.13 Any additional item prohibited at the promoter’s request 

8 - Phones  

Cell phones are permitted at the Théâtre Capitole, but use must not interfere with the comfort of other spectators.
